I started my career at Deloitte, auditing both private and public companies, focusing on financial compliance, risk assessment, and internal controls. Later, I joined ATCO Group in investor relations and corporate reporting, gaining knowledge into the complexities of a large publicly-traded organization.

In 2019, I relocated to Chicago as a Senior Associate at The Siegfried Group, providing accounting consulting and leadership advisory to a publicly traded fintech company. After returning home to Prince Edward Island in 2021, I took on a remote VP of Finance role at Kapoose Creek Bio, a biotech startup, where I gained exposure to the challenges a business faces in the high-growth, high-risk biotech space.

Recently, I worked as Finance Manager for the Native Council of PEI, overseeing day-to-day accounting functions and managing budgeting and cash flow across more than 30 funding agreements for various social programs dedicated to off-reserve Indigenous communities in Prince Edward Island.
